Educational Approach

Herkert & Associates, Inc. builds relationships on a simple, straight forward educational approach.  Offering retirement planning workshops and courses since 1989, Herkert & Associates, Inc. has helped to educate thousands of individuals. Joe teaches this course at the University of Wisconsin in West Bend, Wisconsin. He also teaches the class at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.  The nationally accredited courses are taught by financial professionals, strategists and attorneys who carefully present both basic and advanced financial information, options and strategies.

We have built relationships with Estate Planning Attorneys in both Wisconsin and Washington. We often find this is an area our clients need to address for their Estate Planning Needs.

"Joe" has enjoyed working in the financial industry since 1969, founding Herkert & Associates, Inc. in 1985.  Joe has served as President of the Wisconsin Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and is a founding leader of the Foundation for Insurance and Financial Education. 

An active member of his community, church and associations, Joe contributes time and effort to many charitable organizations. Establishing "Joe's Clothes" which provides about 600 sleeping bags to the homeless annually.
